The Children’s Playhouse strives to keep memberships affordable to families and memberships are offered “below cost” and are supplemented by donations, grants, and fundraisers.

Why Did Membership Rates Go Up?

On October 7th, Playhouse membership fees went up for the first time in 6 years. We are a nonprofit and we are committed to keeping The Children’s Playhouse affordable for all families with the help of donations and fundraisers. This past year visits from our paying members accounted for 56% of all visits but their membership fees only covered 16% of our expenses.
