SpACE is Back!

Our ever popular Journey to the Moon is back for the Summer! You have until now through the end of August to don a spacesuit and pilot our ship to extraterristerial adventures on the moon.

New, Permanent Exhibit: The Storybook Forest Opens June 26th!

Over a year in the making, this all handcrafted exhibit was created by Playhouse Executive Director Kathy Parham with volunteers Ed Folts and Anna Welsh, assisted by wonderful interns and community volunteers. Using painted paper collage, carpentry, painting, cloth and paper-mâché sculpture, and block printing, this magical space celebrates nature and the best in children’s literature.

This immersive play environment invites storytelling and curiosity with a puppet theatre inside a tree, an animal apartment, custom costumes, books, and sensory experiences for babies.
