Activity Partners and Volunteers Needed for Playhouse Build Fest 2018

Help us pull off an amazing community event for kids and families! Playhouse BuildFest will held on Saturday April 13 at Watauga High School. We are looking for 25-40 Activity Partners, groups that will plan and staff activities at BuildFest, and 50 Event Volunteers, who will give 2 or more hours on the day of the event. Read on to find out how to be an activity partner or volunteer play facilitator.

Register to participate here by March 25. Activity plans will be finalized in late March.

We are seeking ASU classes and clubs, as well as community groups, to offer hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities and/or demonstrations aimed at kids aged 2-12 accompanied by their parents at next spring’s second annual Playhouse Build Fest.

Don't have time to plan an activity this year? We are also looking for 40-100 volunteer "play facilitators" who will commit to staff Playhouse-planned activities for for 3 to 5 hours on the day of the event. We will provide these volunteers with a one hour training session prior to the event. Click here for the Play Facilitators Interest form.

We can't pull this amazing event without great partners and volunteers, so please spread the word to anyone you think would want to take part. We are looking for ideas for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities for kids aged 2-12. This is a great project for a class, club, or community organization

Let's build another great BuildFest!
